George Eliot Volunteers are the foundation of performing arts organizations LCF was founded by a group of committed Volunteers in 1977. Over the decades, LCF has exemplified Volunteerism at work in cooperation with the arts. From the performers to the stage, the members of the Board of Directors, to the fundraisers to ushers, Volunteers have guided and support LCF in the Kawartha Lakes community. LCF has an ongoing need for Volunteers to perform anywhere from small, one-time tasks to ongoing committee positions. The areas of marketing and publicity, special events, and fundraising have open positions for Volunteer leaders.
